Amelia Walcott Freshwater Sciences 2023

Amelia Walcott

I am an Environmental Scientist within the NSW Department of Planning, Industry and Environment (DPIE) in the Environmental Water program. I work as part of the wetland fauna monitoring team, monitoring waterbird and frog responses to flows across the inland wetlands of the Murray Darling Basin where DPIE and partners manage water for the environment. Prior to working in this role, I completed post-graduate and post-doctoral research that investigated frog species distributions and calling phenology.
