Gareth Oerman
Gareth Oerman is a Senior Scientific Officer at the South Australian Department for Environment and Water. His career has focused on the River Murray and Coorong, and has held roles ranging from wetland monitoring to science synthesis and evaluation. Most recently, he has worked on the Healthy Coorong, Healthy Basin program that aims to restore the health of the Ramsar-listed Coorong wetland. Within this program, he has worked in a team translating, applying and integrating new knowledge gained from research projects to support site management.
