Meegan Judd Freshwater Sciences 2023

Meegan Judd

Meegan Judd worked for Goulburn Broken CMA for ten years in environmental flows and noticed a gap in the water management process for assessing flow requirements to maintain existing riverine values versus values that may be desired under a changing climate. Consequently, Meegan enrolled an industry sponsored PhD at LaTrobe University investigating the incorporation of climate change adaptations to environmental flow management. Meegan’s work aims to improve understanding on whether environmental flow managers deem climate change important and are considering it in long term planning. Meegan also wishes to understand how water managers are responding to the uncertainty of climate change.
