Ton has 36 years of experience in water resources management and water resource research. Ton has wide expertise in freshwater management and expertise including hydrology, ecology, water quality and quantity management, management and policy development for water and land resources. Ton has undertaken a broad range of research in the land and water resource management fields on topics including hydrology, water quality, eutrophication, aquatic ecology and environmental classification. Ton makes use of various statistical methods including extensive use of machine learning methods.
