Morgan Schultz

Morgan Sage Schultz is Chicano with a variety of indigenous & European ancestry as well as an adoptive community member with the Confederated Salish & Kootenai Tribes. Driven to understand the freshwater ecosystems of the Flathead Reservation, he earned his Bachelor's of Science degree in Hydrology from Salish & Kootenai College. Morgan is a recent graduate from Montana Technological University, and with his Masters degree in Ecological Restoration he is eager to work in the field of restoration ecology. Morgan is proficient in remote sensing, research design and implementation, presentation skills, and has the ambition to achieve his desires. His research interests include indigenous research methodologies, snowpack dynamics, fluvial geomorphology, bioindicators, restoration monitoring, and the ecosystem services from instream habitats. Mr. Schultz is also thankful for the opportunity to become a part of the EMERGE Fellowship and will bring his unique skill sets and perspectives.
