Alexandra (Lexi) Yokomizo
Alexandra (Lexi) Yokomizo is a third-year undergraduate student studying Environmental Sciences, Tech, and Policy at California State University, Monterey Bay. She has a watershed concentration and is also working towards a minor in International Health Policy. As a freshman, Lexi joined the Watershed Ecology and Environment Lab on campus and now conducts research under Dr. John Olson. She works on many different research projects investigating wildfire effects on river chemistry and sediment and leads a monitoring project on a preserve near campus. When she is not studying or working on research, Lexi can be found leading meetings for the Sustainability club or Asian Pacific Islander Association club on campus, preparing for graduate school, or reading an Agatha Christie book.
