Francis J. Burdon

I am a community ecologist specializing in aquatic ecosystems. My research interests focus on how disturbance and environmental stress affect biodiversity and ecosystem functioning. In particular, I am interested in the indirect effects of perturbations, and how these manifest through food web interactions. I am currently working at the University of Waikato as a Senior Lecturer and have Marsden funding for a project investigating how biodiversity affects cross-ecosystem functioning.
