Camryn A Larson
Camryn Larson is currently a third year PhD student at the University of Arkansas and is advised by Dr. Michelle Evans-White. In 2020, Camryn received her BS in Biology with an Aquatic Science concentration from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in her hometown. There, she was a McNair Scholar and began finding an interest in stream research. She is broadly interested in stream ecology and the role that macroinvertebrates play in these systems. For her dissertation, Camryn is currently examining winter stonefly distributions in Northwest Arkansas with a focus on determining the detectability of these organisms. Overall, Camryn hopes to continue building the skill set needed to excel in the field of aquatic ecology.
