Phillip Jellyman

Phil is a freshwater fisheries scientist with a PhD from the University of Canterbury. He first worked with NIWA in 2005–2007 and has been back as a scientist since 2012 specialising in freshwater resource management and conducting research on freshwater fisheries and food webs. He previously lead the freshwater fisheries research within NIWA's Environmental Flows programme when he managed Christchurch's Freshwater Ecology group. He has been in senior management roles since 2018 whilst continuing to undertake applied research.
