I'm an aquatic ecologist interested in community and ecosystem level processes that algae are involved in. My dissertation work has focused on macro- and micronutrient effects on phytoplankton and biofilm growth, composition, and toxin production. When I'm not wearing my ecologist hat, I'm likely cooking, hiking with my huskies or curled up with a book.
