I am a cultural geographer working at the Australian Rivers Institute. My research has focused on the interaction between Indigenous customary and state environmental governance and planning systems, as well as the meaning of water, its symbolic significance and material value. I have a special interest in projects that seek to enliven rivers and restore sustainable relationships between people, place and aquatic life.
